TrainingGate 4

Only kind methods joined together with patience and praise are used.  Patience is a necessity as the dog transitions from being a puppy through the adolescent months on into adulthood. We use the Kennel Club Good Citizens Dog Scheme as the basis for all our training which provides a structured, yet fun approach for both dogs and owners.

PLEASE NOTE that we are unable to accept any dog that is vocal towards other dogs. As you can appreciate this can be intimidating and disruptive not only to the other dogs but also to some dog owners. We will, however be pleased to assess the dog and provide some input to rectify any such situation.

As a guide we try to limit classes to 6 dogs. Due to the different sizes of the halls the number of classes may vary, but the following is a general outline. Please call us for exact details.

  • 7.00pm to 7.45pm for young dogs (puppies) which are less than 9 months old at the start of the course
  • 7.50pm to 9.30pm and is for dogs who do not qualify, by age, for the first class
  • daytime classes are for any age of dog
  • The Puppy and Bronze classes are now completely full. We can however answer enquiries and will take reservations for the next term starting April 2012.

There are no membership costs.  Only a flat fee which is payable at the start of each course. To book your place please contact us well in advance as the classes do get filled up quickly.
