Legal Requirements It is a legal requirement under the Control of Dogs Order of 1992 that every dog, while in a highway or place of public resort, must wear a collar with the name and address of its owner inscribed on it or on a plate or badge attached to it.
Course Essentials You will need to bring to your training session:
A current vaccination certificate (please bring to your first session)
Suitable means to clear up should your dog have an accident
Sufficient treats to last throughout the class
A play toy which should NOT be of a squeaky nature
Your dog!
Everyday Essentials These are items you should carry wih you whenever you are with your dog:
Poo bags – always carry 3 with you. 2 for accidents and 1 for any hair from your dogs (legally you cannot dispose of this in the environment
Treats – small and varied in order to maintain the dog’s attention when on walks and during training
Collars & Leads We carry a limited range of leads and collars for various sizes of dogs. Training leads and collars are available, but please ask for advice about what is most suitable for your dog.
Toys It is our policy to train in our classes using a toy whenever possible – this should be a toy reserved specifically for training so that your dog becomes attracted to it and relates it to their train and play sessions. In order to avoid distraction we recommend toys are of safe construction with no inbuilt squeekies which may become dislodged and cause harm. We have a selection of suitable toys available and are happy to advise on which toy is suitable for your dog.

Clothing (for owners)
Please dress comfortably so that you can enjoy your training session with your dog. Soft trainers and comfortable trousers are ideal, but no sandals or flip flops that may fall off during training. High Heels are definitely banned as they will damage the floor.
